Machine Designer / Programmer
Join Smart Camera X Inc. to design, build, and program custom machines. This hands-on role blends mechanical design, controls, and robotics.
What you’ll do
- Design mechanical systems in 3D CAD
- Program PLCs, HMIs, and robots
- Integrate sensors, actuators, and industrial networks
- Fabricate and assemble machines in-house
- Support installation, commissioning, and testing on-site
What we’re looking for
- Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/related)
- 2+ years in automation, robotics, or engineering
- CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and basic coding (Python/C/etc.)
- Comfortable with shop tools and hands-on work
- Local travel; valid driver’s license
Nice to have
- Omron Sysmac, Fanuc/KUKA/Motoman experience
- EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus familiarity
- CNC machining or fabrication experience

Compensation
$75K starting; review after probation (up to $85K). Overtime may be required during busy periods.
